Every two years the European Citizen Science Association (ECSA) conference brings together hundreds of researchers, practitioners in the field of citizen science, policymakers, science funders, NGOs and interested citizens. In meetings, round tables, workshops, participants share experiences and knowledge, explore the transformative potential of citizen science and make the community grow and thrive.
Conference for Advancing the Participatory Sciences (CAPS)
Alternating each year between in-person and virtual, these events offer cross-cutting symposia, interactive workshops, engaging talks, and dynamic posters. They connect people from across many contexts to highlight areas of innovation, share ideas and insights, and forge stronger relationships and practices across this field.
British Ecological Society (BES) annual meeting
The BES has a Community Science Group and the annual meeting is a good place to meet ecologists using citizen science methods and hear about their work.
Royal Geographical Society (RGS) Annual International Conference
RGS has a Participatory Geographies Research Group research group, which has some overlap with citizen science, and he RGS conference is a good place to share social and environmental citizen science research.
